I am very pleased with the cycle storage shed I purchased. Good value for money.
It is very capacious and I keep 2 bikes and a bunch of accessories in there as well.
Make sure you read the dimensions carefully and that it will fit your available space.
The construction is good and rigid, but I don't think it is high security. I have ours on the driveway at the side of house and that is fine.
The instructions are on the whole good and comprehensive. A couple of times I had to stop and figure out the orientation for left and right. Give yourself plenty of time to complete 2 hours is very optimistic
This is a decent quality product considering the low price but it comes in so many parts that it would take even a very skilled person quite a long time to put together. Very fiddly and requires two people for some parts. I took one star off for that reason, but once put together it looks nice and does the job.
The shed was difficult to start with. Definitely needs two people but once built strong and solid . The lid catch is unfortunate and not very good so we fitted a latch .
Excellent all round. Arrived promptly, I was able to put it together on my own with the clear instructions. Would buy from Yhe Garden Sanctuary again.
This is the first time that I have dealt with Garden Sanctuary and I have to admit that I was impressed by their assistance and responsiveness! I had a couple of issues with delivery and slight damage to the parts but these matters were dealt with efficiently and timely by the Garden Sanctuary team.
As for the bicycle shed, I found some consistencies with some of the previous reviews:
Please allow sufficient time for assembly of the shed, I had some help during the initial assembly of the frame, this is necessary, however once the shell of the shed was complete, I undertook the assembly myself which took about 8 hours in total.
The instructions provided were reasonably easy to follow, however, there are a few points where attention is needed as mistakes can happen.
There are some issues with security with the shed; the roof latch is relatively flimsy and normal screws are used for the front door locking mechanism, which I replaced.
Overall I am quite happy with the shed, it is very roomy providing sufficient space for my bicycle a barbecue and some garden chairs.
I would be more than happy to deal with the Garden Sanctuary team again, good service leaving a positive customer experience!
