The box is great for the purpose purchased which was to have a โParcelsโ box by our front door. It looks great and a good size.
Took off one star because it took about 1.5 hours to put together!!
Excellent - so much so that I tried to buy a second one to match, only to be told that you were sold out. Gutted!
The box looks okay - haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, ease of use. It is really difficult to assemble - its the usual problem with this type of furniture where you have holes which need to be lined up in order to insert screws - inevitably the holes don't line up very well, if at all in some cases. It took two of us two and a half hours to assemble it - it wasn't fun, one of us ended up cutting their finger and the sequencing in the instructions isn't always practical. We got there in the end but I would not purchase again, unless it came ready-assembled.
Third one Iโve bought and, no, I donโt learn as there is only ONE WAY to assemble correctly so read the manual carefully! First thing is all panels are supplied with a plastic protective film - this could easily take an hour to peel off so leaving the panels in the sun helps soften the film. Assemble but donโt fully tighten the screws as this will give you โwriggleโ room to line everything up; then fully tighten. Great for storing all sorts of things including garden cushions as the oversized lid means thereโs no chance of any water dripping in. Bear in mind there is Grey and Anthracite (which is slightly darker) so if you're buying two sizes, you may want to check the colour description. Gas struts keep the lid open so no need to prop up with a stick :-) Very happy with mine!
